KARAM ELAHI MEMORIAL TRUST
Welcome
The Karam Elahi Memorial Trust was established in 2006 with the primary objective of providing free eye care for poor people suffering from treatable blindness and other eye related diseases.
We have extended the objectives to cater for basic healthcare and education in deprived regions of Azad Kashmir.
These regions have inadmissible health statistics showing that thousands of people, mostly children, die annually from preventable diseases and lack of access to basic health care.
All of our Trustees are working voluntarily to alleviate the pain, suffering and disease engulfing the under-privileged people of Azad Kashmir.
A Major Project of Karam Elahi Memorial Trust
The Karam Elahi Memorial Hospital, Azad Kashmir is the vision of our Founder and Trustee, Haji Abdul Ghani, who is dedicating all of his time and efforts in accomplishing his vision.
He is profoundly determined to alleviate the pain and suffering caused through preventable illnesses which he himself has witnessed during his visits to deprived regions of Azad Kashmir.
This vision has been fully endorsed by all the trustees.
The Karam Elahi Memorial Trust is sponsoring Haji Abdul Ghani until the project has been completed. Our energies and activities have been predominantly focussed on the accomplishment of this project. The land for the project was paid for by Haji Abdul Ghani alone and the lease of the site has been signed over to the trust by Haji Abdul Ghani.
